Our story
Phong Ngo, a business leader in advanced manufacturing spent years running General Plasma but struggled to scale the way he envisioned. The bottleneck wasn’t engineering or design; it was finance and back-office operations. Procurement, vendor management, and payments remained constant challenges, no matter the tools or staff he added.
The missing piece?
A tool that not only automated AP but also delivered the financial visibility and cost-structure insights needed to make better decisions.
With no solution on the market that met those needs, Phong set out to build it himself.
While pursuing his MBA at Wharton, Phong met Charley Howe, a fintech leader with nearly two decades of experience at Citi, Citi Ventures, and in capital markets. Together, they combined operational expertise with financial innovation to launch MakersHub.
